A couple of years ago, summertime was synonymous with visiting Panama and I was hoping this year we would return to that yearly trip. However, Mami's too far along to travel safely back home. Therefore, Panama will have to wait until next summer. In the meantime, Mami and Papi have planned a Florida beach and Disney trip again with my tios and primos, the Leftwich's.
However, awaiting this trip, Mami has "eagerly" taken me to the pool several days a week. For some reason her excitement is not as notable as mine. Something about her working all day and the baby getting her tired, wanting to lay down and take nap.....yadda, yadda, yadda...just take me to the pool.
One thing's for sure, all these days at the pool has helped my swimming skills, making me a more confident swimmer. And now that the new YMCA outdoor pool and slide feature has opened, I've surprised Mami and Papi with said confidence.
