With Christmas only 5 days away, I thought I would hurry and post the pictures from our Nov. 26th annual trip to the Fourakre Tree Farm. This makes Mama and Papa's 8th year and my 4th year to the farm. In case you forgot, Mama and Papa have been coming to this same tree farm ever since they were together (2004). This year was actually lots of fun for me because I can actually walk, run and do whatever I want...ok...just kidding...I can PRETEND to do whatever I want. Also, it was a bit different choosing our tree. We had to be mindful of the height of our tree because unlike our old house in Riverdale, our new house only has 10 ft. ceilings. So we made sure not to exceed 8 1/2. Mama even told me that I could pick out the tree; and I did. Unfortunately I insisted that the tree be "little like me".
After miles and miles of searching (ok, after 5 minutes) we found our tree. Once we got it up in the house, it took us a while to decorate it because Mama has been very busy at work and had to leave to a conference in Philadelphia for 4 days. While Mama was gone, Papa and I had some great bonding time. I even had my school pictures and although Papa had me looking my best, Mama decided to take advantage of the retakes once she saw the proofs. Once we get back my new school pictures, I'll be sending them out....so keep a lookout for it.
