32 weeks

I was on the phone with my mom (a.k.a. abuelita Cannava) and she couldn't believe I only have 8 more weeks left. She even pulled out a calendar and counted it. Now, it feels like it is slowing down. Everybody says the last few weeks are sloooooowww. I agree! I remember when Aisha was pregnant with Julian and it seemed like he wanted to stay in her belly. I was calling Aisha everyday to see if she was having any contractions. I had even started back at work and would pack a small suitcase just in case she went into labor while I was at work. That way I would be able to leave and go straight to Charlotte..... and that is exactly what happened. I was so excited and I am glad I was able to be there. It was the best experience ever to be by my sister's side when she gave birth to my handsome nephew, Julian Joaquin. It was so beautiful and emotional and I will never forget that moment. I love you Aisha!
