A Tree House

When I first heard about a tree house, I thought it was where birds and squirrels live with their family. On weekend mornings I stand by the front window and look at the squirrels leap from branch to branch and run along the fence and then watch Chomba as she goes wild wanting to be let out of the house in order to play with the squirrel. So for obvious reasons, I thought that was their warm and sometimes cold, abode. I was wrong. It seems that all that banging and sawing Toby, Eli's dad, was doing for months was actually real work on a tree house for Eli. Yes, for Eli. Not for squirrels or birds or any other animal for that matter. Was Eli behaving bad and they want to make him sleep outside? Finally the house was done and I was assured by just looking at it that it was for playing and enjoying the outdoors. It is awesome!
