My new home

A little over a month ago, Mami and Papa started searching for a 3 year old program for me starting in August. They found a program at Drew Charter School that provides an excellent curriculum developed by Georgia State University and Emory University. The big hiccup in their plan to enroll me was that I HAD to live in the area. So almost immediately, they made the decision that they would move close by. I couldn't believe that we were going to leave the only house I knew as my own. After lots of house hunting and a bit of good luck, Mami and Papa decided to rent a house a house next door to my best friend, Eli and Mami's good friend, Christie. Mami reassured me that I was going to love the new place because my new room was bigger and the park was 2 blocks away. Shortly after, the packing began. One day I had a bed, the next day I was sleeping on a mattress on the floor next to Mami and Papa’s mattress on the floor as well. Everything happened so fast: we found someone to rent our house and we packed everything in one week.

We are now in our new house and I do LOVE my room. Of the 2 weeks that I’ve been living here, I have been to the park about every other day. And the zoo is only 4 miles away... I've been there already too! Mami was right, I would love the move.
