Today I went to get my ears pierced (yes on election day). Now when I am wearing neutrals people can stop asking Mami if I'm a girl or a boy. Unlike most Americans, Panamanians girls usually get their ears pierced when they are a baby. Mami and Daddy don't believe in "It's her body... give her the choice when she is older whether or not she wants holes in her ears." Mami said that my body is hers until I turn 18. Plus, Mami would like to ask those who feel that way, do they feel the same way if they had a boy.... "Let him make the decision on whether on not he wants to get circumsized when he is older". HAHAHA
